Orlando Has the Largest Percentage Increase in Homicides-Other Cities Rank High for Violence

Orlando, FL has the largest percentage increase in homicides from 2014-2015 for the 56 cities studied.

The cities that contributed the largest number of homicides to the total increase in 2015 are below. Together, the increases in these cities constituted 66.7 percent of the total increase in the 56-city sample. Those cities include:

Cleveland

Nashville

Milwaukee

Baltimore

Washington, D.C.

Kansas City

Houston

St. Louis

Chicago

Philadelphia
